I probably started my fall post saying that it is my favorite season. That's debatable. Winter is likely my real favorite. I'm not sure if Thanksgiving falls in winter, but if it does, then winter is absolutely the best season. After Halloween, time flies from Thanksgiving until my birthday and Christmas. I love to decorate for the holidays and be festive so of course I love Christmas. However, this year I'm ready to get jolly even sooner than normal.
I ususally contain my Christmas spirit until the day after Thanksgiving and then my whole house comes alive. From midnight on Thanksgiving night until December 26, the Christmas music never stops blaring. On the day after Thanksgiving, my parents and I go and get our Christmas tree and decorate it that night. We love the holidays and my mom and I are total suckers for Christmas decorations. We have sets of Christmas tree decorations. There are different color schemes to choose from every year, and the same goes for my small tree in my bedroom. But out of all the Christmas things we have, the best are the Santas. My mom has always loved Santa statues and ornaments and so it's basically her thing now. She loves antique and foreign Santas and so now they're just a part of the holidays for us. I guess what I really love about winter and the holidays is that it brings all of the family together and you can also see how other families celebrate which is always interesting.
I agree I love winter! Christmas music is always blaring in the car and in my house.
